Rachel Barone

Chief Executive Officer

Rachel Barone grew up in Atlanta, GA and before finding my forever home in South Florida in 2014, I studied psychology and criminology at Miami University, followed by Georgia Southern University. After starting my career-life in Corporate America, I knew there was something missing and it wasn’t until I began my career in the recovery industry owning & operating Recovery Residences that I found a deep passion & purpose in helping those that struggle with substance abuse and mental health.

As the Chief Executive Officer at Gateway & Power House, I ensure that our facility and care are second to none and that we never meet a standard we don't exceed. After spending the last 5 years in the role of a CEO of 2 dual-diagnosis treatment programs, I like to think my 7 years in the industry have grown into a wealth of experience and knowledge. However, it's always been my personal experience with the disease of addiction and my own journey of recovery that has allowed me to learn and grow within a very difficult, often heartbreaking industry, and has taught me the beauty of advocating passionately for all that walk through our door.

After seeing countless treatment programs lacking elements within their curriculum that contribute to long-term sobriety & success for their clients, I found myself saying "We can do better...we have to do better" way too often. With that, the journey leading to Victory Recovery Center, Gateway Recovery Center and Power House Recovery Project were born. Often, people seriously underestimate the power and healing that can come with having somewhere

that you can walk through the doors and be accepted for exactly who you are…and that’s why we’re here.

Jennifer Reckley, LMHC

Clinical Director

During the course of her career, Jennifer has had the opportunity to work with a wide array of clients over the last 15 years since graduating from Florida International University in 2008 with her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and obtaining her Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in 2011. Specifically, she’s helped her clients overcome and cope with substance abuse issues, trauma, mood disorders, as well as the difficulties with unresolved issues and traumas that are often revealed in adults with addictions that come about during childhood, and adolescent years.

Over time, she’s become acutely aware that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to working with people to make changes in their lives. Most importantly, she wants to make sure that clients truly see how genuinely passionate she is about helping them create a catalyst for change, as well as helping staff, in particular, fellow therapists, reach their maximum potential as a Certified Qualified Supervisor for Counseling professionals, in turn, ensuring that clients are treated and supported in the best way possible.

Paul Fisher

Chief Operating Officer & CRRA

Paul was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL but grew up in Washington State. He began his journey of recovery in 2014 when he returned to his birthplace here in Florida for addiction treatment himself. He brings to Gateway Recovery Center his own personal experience, combined with years of working in the field of addiction in multiple facets within all different levels of care, ranging from detox facilities, all the way through the continuum to Recovery Residences. Paul joined our team over 4 years ago as a Lead Behavioral Health Technician at one of our prior treatment facilities and very quickly embraced the opportunities he was presented with to continuously learn & grow within the organization. By year 4, he had earned his place as one of 4 individuals in a leadership position and was managing a team of 20 employees and up to 45 clients.

With us here at Gateway & Power House, Paul has been instrumental in the development and constant improvement of our operational procedures to ensure continuous quality improvement and safety & compliance for our clients and residents. In addition to his role in operations, Paul is also Power House Recovery Project’s Certified Recovery Residence Administrator and ensures that our Recovery Residence and program always exceed the standards outlined by both Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR) and the National Association of Recovery Residences (NARR).

Ultimately, Paul found a passion and a purpose in the recovery and mental health field when he found recovery himself and it’s that unique insight and dedication that allows him to help the next sick & suffering addict or alcoholic that walks through our doors.
