Rachel Barone

Chief Executive Officer

Rachel Barone grew up in Atlanta, GA and before finding my forever home in South Florida in 2014, I studied psychology and criminology at Miami University, followed by Georgia Southern University. After starting my career-life in Corporate America, I knew there was something missing and it wasn’t until I began my career in the recovery industry owning & operating Recovery Residences that I found a deep passion & purpose in helping those that struggle with substance abuse and mental health.

As the Chief Executive Officer at Gateway & Power House, I ensure that our facility and care are second to none and that we never meet a standard we don't exceed. After spending the last 5 years in the role of a CEO of 2 dual-diagnosis treatment programs, I like to think my 7 years in the industry have grown into a wealth of experience and knowledge. However, it's always been my personal experience with the disease of addiction and my own journey of recovery that has allowed me to learn and grow within a very difficult, often heartbreaking industry, and has taught me the beauty of advocating passionately for all that walk through our door.

After seeing countless treatment programs lacking elements within their curriculum that contribute to long-term sobriety & success for their clients, I found myself saying "We can do better...we have to do better" way too often. With that, the journey leading to Victory Recovery Center, Gateway Recovery Center and Power House Recovery Project were born. Often, people seriously underestimate the power and healing that can come with having somewhere

that you can walk through the doors and be accepted for exactly who you are…and that’s why we’re here.
